The first Cyborg will discover what he's truly made of during a modern sect war that would see him turned into the evil he vows to fight when magic and technology collide and cut away at him in ways that are not just skin deep, it's metal deep.
Scion Thantosa is the heir of ancient protectors called Infinites. He'll choose his path in a fight that has endangered human and Amalgams races: Rippers, Iclings, Spiritans, Robomancers, and Technopires to name a few. He is armed with a mean swing from shiny new Cyborg arms, destructive magic granted by ever-glowing Dragonstones, ill-timed smack talk, and an awesome green hairdo given by the two hottest elves this side of the North Pole. Along the way, familial bonds form with the friends he makes during forays of hijinks, drama, humor, love, and loss. Scion and his seven closest friends become the New Infinites, the last line of defense against groups like Moonguard, Street Vipers, and Firebrand Elves. Success as the first surviving Cyborg is the key his foes need to resurrect an evil Dragon Spirit using his unique biotechnology. As long as Scion lives, the world is in danger. He'll have to oblige the call to make the ultimate sacrifice. The question is, what will he do to his friends when they try and stop him?

My favorite installment so far!
GX Knight's writing really--and I repeat, really--shines in this one. It's like he pulled all the stops out of his creative talent, because both the story and the writing go way deeper in Infinite and Forever. I really enjoy the pace of the series, as it hasn't slowed down at all, but always advances like someone's pressing hard on the accelerator. I'm curious to see where the series will go next and I'm happy to be along for the ride since the beginning. If you haven't started the series, go back and do it before you fall any farther behind!
GxKnight continues to amaze
This has been my favorite episode yet of the captivating Metal Deep series. GxKnight continues to build a believable, yet fantastic world for readers to enjoy and connect with. The main character is probably the most easy to identify with of any fictional character in recent history.
The relationships between the characters feel so real, you will feel like you've know them for years after reading. The author has a tremendous gift of making the reader care about and invest in the story. I highly recommend all of them and anything else GxKnight writes.

Best installment yet!
The best installment yet! I've greatly enjoyed the series. The hero is a good combination of down-to-earth and everything a world-saving hero should be, besides being likeable in general. The secondary characters are more complex than expected for such a short story, and I've enjoyed watching them develop. It's a wonderful read, especially for the price. Highly recommended!
Awesome!
This entire series has been so cool. If you are a fan of sci-fi and fantasy then you should definitely check this series out. I laughed, I cried. And I absolutely can't wait for the next installment.
Wonderful!
Metal Deep shakes the foundations of the writing world. Well worth your time and attention. GX Knight is improving with every page and his characters are gaining complexity with every twist & turn of the story.
