  • 2. The history of mainstream meditation

We often view meditation as a practice for everyone, which it is, but in the hands of the elite, it does something different. Something incredibly different.

When rulers of our past practiced an elite form of meditation, meditation became a mainstream movement, it echoed across the land and a golden age became the result.

But, they didn't stop there. They knew if they did, an outside force would eventually attempt to conquer their land, which would bring an end to their their golden age. Thus, they shared elite meditation with distant rulers who put their own golden ages in motion. In other words, they created a golden age of golden ages.

Imagine executives like CEOs repeating these efforts in their businessed. They could create their own golden ages, which scales upward to create a larger golden age. Country leaders could also get in the action and spread the good fortune even further.

In this episode, we'll learn what had happened so that the elite can create a global golden age.

    FOOTNOTE:

The history this episode shares is often credited by Westerner to Buddhism. The term Buddhism is a Western construct. The literal translation of what Easterners call this philosophy is Dharma, which means the path of awakening.

The history captured in this episode is just the nuts and bolts of the path that lead to many golden ages.

  • 1. The meta of meditation

This podcast captures a specific tradition of meditation with an incredible depth to it. It was made for and exercised by the ruling class. In more modern terms, it's a meditation for CEOs, executives, leaders, the affluent, the privileged.

They want the best of everything. They want the Rolls Royce of meditation, the Mona Lisa of meditation, the lost art of meditation. They want certainty.

Maybe you know what an exploded-view drawing is. It shows the individual parts of an object slightly separated from one another. This drawing illustrates how the parts fit or are assembled together.

This exploded-view drawing is what the elite want from meditation. They want to see the nuts and bolts so that they know "how" to master mindfulness. They settle for nothing less than a cloudburst of wisdom.

In this episode, we're deconstructing meditation. We're enabling the elite to be like the driver of a parade dragon spreading good fortune, prosperity and wisdom to everyone, to fend off negative energy and to unite our global community.

Welcome to METAtation, the meditation for the elite.
