In this CS Week Special Episode of the METC Podcast I share my own thoughts and insights into coding within the classroom.  I focus on a resource created by Google called Made w/ Code. This resource has many different “projects” to get students started with coding, more specifically girls interested in coding. There is a cool mentor and futurist page that provides many different video interviews of female coders making a difference. If you are looking to introduce your students to coding, I would definitely recommend checking out this resource. Even though it has a goal of getting more females interested in coding, there are definitely some projects and resources that can be shared with both genders.
