This case football classic talks about the game on November 23, 2006 against Boston College at the Orange bowl, a CANES 17-14 win. It would an emotional night as it was the first game in Miami since Bryan Pata’s brutal murder 16 days earlier. It was the perfect tribute and getting the win in our last home game of the season was a fitting tribute to Pata. It would also be Larry Coker‘s last regular season game as Miami hurricanes Head Coach as he would be fired the day after this game and Randy Shannon would named Head Coach a few weeks later.
