相比于2018年2月对时任国务委员杨晶的撤职处分，上月由中共人大常委会出面”做出对秦刚和李尚福国务委员的免职决定并非正式处分，日后随着中共中央政治局将他们逐出中央委员会的决定出笼，他们还将分别受到国家监察委和军纪委的政务处分和军纪处分。
