Stand-up Comic & Emmy-nominated Writer at The Daily Show Josh Johnson joins Liz to explain how he went from being a kid growing up in poverty-stricken, rural Louisiana to a writer for late night television.

Josh explains how he has turned his own life tragedy into comedy, describing his comedic style as storytelling with a nod towards observation. He details his journey step by step from sleeping on friends' couches, to getting a job opportunity to write for late night television, to being named New York's Funniest Comic at the New York Comedy Festival.
