Now that everyone can finally start looking towards some form of live events starting in 2020, the next step is making sure that they are safe.

We will look at why you need a specific COVID Safe assessment, how you should go about actually doing one and the main resources, guidelines and sources of information that you will need to do it. We’ll also be chatting about the other practical implications of running events in a COVID world (!) such as an ‘impact assessment’ for self isolation of key staff / speakers / suppliers and some examples / ideas for how to take the control measures into events in a creative way.

Speakers:

Sarah Threlfall, Bright Space Events. Having worked in and with event agencies for the last 20 years, Sarah has built up an enormous portfolio of different event formats, a wide ranging client list across nearly all sectors and worked across the globe. And from the word go she’s been doing full risk assessments and attending all sorts of industry safety training.An event manager first and a health and safety expert second, she’s ramped up her qualifications during the break and has been keeping a close eye on everyone and everything involved in getting us live again. She’s taken part in numerous webinars, connected with LOTS of associations and done hours and hours of reading to make sure that she’s aware of all the relevant guidance. Her recent IOSH qualification is the icing on the cake to bringing friendly and accessible H&S expertise to your events.
