Michael Bowman is the author of the 2014 Farm Bill amendment, Section 7606, that granted farmers the right to grow industrial hemp in legal states for the first time in 80 years. He grew up on his family farm in Colorado and advocates for the power of hemp to restore land and bolster resilient farming economies.
