Michael: Hits Without Heart? | Filmmaker Perspective

Listen Later

The King of Pop Michael Jackson finally gets the music biopic treatment, and it has everyone feeling something. While critics and fans might be divided, I share a filmmaker's perspective on why the movie is what it is. From the Jackson 5 to Thriller, this movie plays the hits, but is that enough to make the movie deserving of MJ.Intro - 0:00What is the point of a Biopic 0:27Michael fact v. fiction 3:32The good within 7:42Why not just watch MJ on YT 10:30Leaderboard 13:44I'm Cory and I'm a Writer, Director, and On Set Sound Mixer in Los Angeles, CA with more than a decade of experience helping bring movies and television to life.
