Michael Katz serves as the Executive Director of the Mendocino Cannabis Alliance (MCA), the premier cannabis trade association in Mendocino County representing over 130 individual local businesses, and MendocinoCannabis.shop, a direct to consumer platform developed to help provide increased access to market for MCA's members, currently operating as a delivery service in Sacramento, CA and through a retail partnership with Plantshop in Ukiah. Michael has been honored to participate as Chair of The Emerald Cup Small Farms Initiative and with Hall of Flowers to expand their Equity Grant to include small outdoor and mixed light farmers. Michael also serves as a Regional Chair on the Regional Council of Origins Council, a trade association representing nearly 900 operators from 6 heritage producing regions throughout California at both the State and Federal levels
