Michael says that the first obstacle that he had to face was being born. After many complications at birth, being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy before hitting kindergarten, and being told he had only a few weeks to live at the age of 13, this man has been through a few things. BUT…

He says there is even a purpose in all of this. Now as an advocate, author, and public speaker, Michael has shared his story on Capital Hill, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the National Institute of Health. In this conversation, we dig into how to shift your perspective and shift any obstacle into an opportunity.
