Meanwhile The Waltons is turning 50! Michael reminisces about her role as one of TV's most beloved mothers Olivia Walton. Her performances won her 3 out of the 4 Best Actress Emmys on her mantle. We also talk about the short lived series which earned her a 4th win, "Nurse".
She was an absolute joy to speak with as you'll hear. I can best describe her as down to earth, effervescent, and clearly still in love with her craft, of which she has proven herself to be an absolute master.
Prior to Covid, Michael Learned received Best Actress Award at SOHO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and Best Actress at the Hollywood Womens Film Festival for SECOND ACTS. Learned was then Honored at the Las Vegas MegaFest International Film Festival with a Lifetime Achievement Award following a screening of the film earlier this year. The Covid Pandemic caused a delay in its distribution..
