Michael shares with us his journey which started as a background actor while also running a financial planning business to today where he has earned a series regular role for an Apple TV series, City on Fire, to be released in 2023. Michael and Lisa chat about overcoming stereotypes in the industry and using circumstances in their personal lives to inform their work. They also discuss how producing your own work can help you to comment on social justice issues and fulfill your artistic needs.
This episode is dedicated to Michael's daughter, Alana Tow who passed away on September 15, 2022. In honor of her memory, links to her memorial fund are included below.
