I got to sit down with Michael Wiser, the Marketing Team Lead at Cat and Cloud. He shared his journey from barista to creative director for a production company, and shared his perspective on branding, marketing, and design in the specialty coffee industry.

During our conversation, he emphasized the importance of being helpful, as a way of working and approaching work, whether that's in a cafe setting, with a wholesale account, or even an online buyer. Being helpful is good for everyone involved.

While talking about branding and packaging, Michael shared his take on the tension and balance between highlighting a coffee producer and ensuring your brand remains recognizable while evolving.
