Episode 056 – Michele Cynowicz – has a degree in Communications from KUNY College of Staten Island. After working in this arena for four years, she decided to move into tech. This led her to complete a certificate in multimedia design and development. From there she got a job as a front end web developer for Marvel Entertainment. Since then her skills has improved and today she is a Senior Front End Developer for Vox Media. She works remotely and will talk about that experience. At Vox she started using Vue.js which is the newest frontend framework that is gaining lots of traction lately. She is the CTO for the VueVixens group that focuses on teaching Vue to women.
