Today we hear from Michelle Guzman about how she lets her light SHINE!
Michelle is a JD Candidate poised to graduate in 2024 from law school.
She serves as the Diversity & Inclusion Chair for the Student Bar Association (SBA). Before attending Cooley, She lived in Coamo, Puerto Rico, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Human Resources Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico.
While attending the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, she was involved in Mu Alpha Phi Sorority and completed an internship with the Hispanic Association of College and University (CU) in Washington, DC. After graduation, she pursued a career in cybersecurity with the US Air Force. As she gained more experience in the field, she felt a strong desire to enhance my skills and knowledge by obtaining a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity technology.
During her military service, she developed skills, acquired training, and gained experiences that were useful when studying law.
She works at the Debt Relief Clinic, serves as President of the Hispanic Organization of Legal Advocates, and volunteers for Bay Area Legal Services as a Spanish translator. As well as that, she and her husband and operate a business together, Mi Pizza Piu.
