Michelle Ring – Ex of legendary Union Quay bar The Donkey's Ears
The Donkey's Ears was located on Union Quay just across from Cork City Hall. Starting as a pub with a morning licence they could see that there was something special happening in relation to the dance music scene in Cork in the late 80s/early 90s so they wanted in on the action and got Michelle's brother Mark (Donkeyman) to DJ reggae music in the pub and it became the pre-Sir Henry’s spot to go to. Also featuring on the series is a number of Corkonians including: An Indie episode with Lauren Michelle, Stevie G, Aoife Nic Canna and Ray Cuddihy talking Hip Hop .
