Michelle Wolf was an employee at Bear Stearns brokerage firm in New York City. A kinesiology major in college, she had never quite envisioned a career on Wall Street. A lifelong comedy fan, 21-year-old Wolf attended a taping of Saturday Night Live one night with a friend. It inspired her to take improv classes where she soon decided that this is what she wanted to do. She continued her pursuit in improv eventually moving to stand-up in 2011 and becoming a writer for both Late Night with Seth Meyers and the Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
