""Michigan Midnight Drive" uses the original sample as a starting point for a midnight drive in Michigan. We start by walking out to our car, revving the engine, turning onto the highway and heading out from Lansing and our ambient music scene here. We pass through Detroit, with hints of techno and, finally make our way out to the Great Lakes to listen to the waves underneath the Aurora Borealis. 

"I've supplemented the initial field recording with field recordings taken while hiking at Tahquamenon Falls and Lake Superior along with samples from my own ambient recordings and from playing the glockenspiel. This piece was composed in VCVRack."
