Mick 'Ronno' Ronson may be the greatest sideman of all time. A brilliant producer and multi-instrumentalist, it is nonetheless his incredible guitar playing for which he will most be remembered (as well as excellent hair). Coming out of the glam era as its most important and respected player, he bolstered many famous careers with his taste, tone and touch - although his solo career sadly never really took off.
