"There's so many people with the will to win; there's not so many people with the will to prepare to win." Veteran bronc rider and champion campdrafter Mick Ward has certainly lived this motto during his illustrious career. He can't remember the first time he climbed into a saddle, but he's not spent much of his life out of one, and he's got some tales to tell!

As one of the founding members of ABCRA, Australia's largest rodeo and campdrafting association, he's made his mark on the sport and worked hard to leave better conditions for competitors as part of his legacy. Hear of his tight scrapes as a rodeo entertainer in Asia in the thick of the Vietnam War, how he fell into campdrafting when the scene was just being born, and some of his highest highs and lowest lows as a successful cattle trader.
