LaidBlack is an ongoing, informal conversational series on race in medicine and medical education. This week’s topic is “Microaggressions, Overt Acts of Racism, and their Profound Effects on the Mental Health of BIPOC Students and Residents”. The discussion will be hosted by a panel consisting of students with their own unique, personal experiences on institutional neglect and abuse toward the BIPOC community.
