Today I’m talking nerdy with Chrissy Constable about the gut-brain axis and microbiome. In this conversation we’re talking about what the microbiome is, how it’s created, grown, and destroyed, the relationship between microbiome and mental health, how the microbiome creates neurotransmitters, and a little dive into gastroenterology and the connection between the gut, HPA axis, vagus nerve, and immune system.
Chrissy Constable is a yoga teacher, body reader, and gut fanatic. Chrissy has always been fascinated with the inner workings of the body and how diet, movement, and breath can improve your mental and physical health. Her goal is to find and teach emotional, mental, and physical alignment through yoga asana, diet, and guided self discovery, to improve the quality and increase longevity of life.
