Multinational technology company Microsoft has acquired Semantic Machines in hopes of advancing conversational artificial intelligence. Semantic Machines has developed a new approach to building conversational AI.

By using machine learning, users can discover, access and interact with information and services in a much more natural way, and with significantly less effort. All eyes will be on Microsoft to see if this acquisition makes advances in AI a new part of the conversation.
