On today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: The Sitka Assembly will give $25,000 to support the Alaska Trollers Association’s legal defense fund. A Haines High School graduate spent four hours hiding from an active shooter on the Michigan State campus. And a new facility in Anchorage is designed to address the immediate needs of  the homeless, and connect them to housing and other services.
