On today’s Midday Report with host Brian Venua: The Alaska Legislature on Thursday failed to override a veto by Gov. Mike Dunleavy that erased $87 million in education funding. The University of Alaska has begun the process of fulfilling its long stalled federal land grant. And this weekend  Sitka will host the first ever Alaska state pinball championship.
