There's renewed hope that a Sligo woman and three others may not be deported from Berlin.

Roberta Murray is one of four people who had been ordered to leave Germany for taking part in pro-Palestine protests.

This is despite not having been convicted of a crime.

 The situation has caused huge controversy both locally and internationally.

Independent Ireland MEP Ciaran Mullooly wrote to the German Ambassador, asking them to consider the matter.
