Midlands Simon Community says it's continuing its normal service, even in these difficult times.

The charity's two six-bed emergency accommodation centres in Tullamore and Athlone are operational, despite the covid-19 outbreak, as is its out of hours service.

However, chairperson Mark Cooney says they have had to implement new rules and socially distancing restrictions are a particular barrier.

He spoke to Will Faulkner on The Midlands Today Show.
