Ok so we know ambushes are on the rise.  Training to mitigate these circumstances needs to be increased - BUT out of our combined 40 years of experience we have never seen this type of badassery.  TRULY incredible.  This Officer should be commended for his actions, his warrior mindset his abilities and skill sets.  He remained calm, took control brought the fight right back to the target and DOMINATED.
