It's Advent! Our service is taken from the book Take Our Moments and Our Days: An Anabaptist Prayer Book, Volume 2. Join us in prayer as we wait.
"Earth and all stars," was written by Herbert Brokering, a Lutheran pastor who was born in Beatrice, Nebraska in 1926. Lyrics can be found here: http://dsh.aetistry.com/songs/6906. Our second verse reads: "Hail, wind and rain, loud rushing planets sing to the Lord a new song. Flowers and trees, loud rustling dry leaves sing to the Lord a new song." We do not have verse four with the "classrooms and labs." Although I like it, it isn't in our hymnal, so I skipped it.
