The Mustangs suffered a 4-2 loss to No. 18-ranked Rogers State and an 8-4 loss to No.9-ranked Augustana. Midwestern State is in the midst of a three-game road trip that started Tuesday night with an 89-69 loss at Lubbock Christian and continues Saturday at UT Dallas, which won six of its first 11 games in the Lone Star Conference and had a three-game winning streak snapped with a 64-60 loss at St. Mary’s on Saturday. 

Kerbie Cash is coming off her most efficient performance of the season, scoring 25 points on 8-of-13 shooting, grabbing five rebounds and recording three steals in 27 minutes at Lubbock Christian. Veonce Powell registered her fourth straight double-digit performance with 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field. 

The final game of a three-game road trip is at UT Tyler on Monday night as the Mustangs face the Patriots in a game that was originally scheduled to be played on Jan. 24 but was postponed due to inclement weather.
