Rushil Palavajjhala is the Founder and CEO of Bandhu Urban Tech. In this episode of 'Understanding the Future of Migration and Climate Change’, with Rushil Palavajjhala, we explore the topic of urban migration and how it will be affected by climate change.

In this episode, we initiate our conversation by understanding the root cause of migration in India as well as about the wage gap in rural and urban employment. We further dive into the different sectors of employment for migrants including female migrants. To better understand the topic of migration we also explore seasonal migration and disaster-prone migration. Additionally, we try to understand how the migrants try to balance between their social and financial capital as well as how do they leverage technology. The dialogue further helps understand the next set of challenges in the migrants will face in urban areas due to climate change as well as learning about innovative financing in the real estate markets to solve the problem of migration. At last, we discuss about the various soft and hard skills required to work in the field of migration.
