Recently, Gallup released the results of its annual poll on abortion. And it holds some encouraging information. Those who identify as pro-life, those who think abortion is morally wrong and those who think abortion should be “illegal” or “legal in only a few circumstances” increased by a few points. But opinions among young people showed the most promising results. Young adults up to thirty-four who identified as pro-life went up eight points. Of that same group, those who thought “abortion should be legal in all circumstances” dropped a stunning fourteen points. What’s driving this migration toward pro-life views? It may be that a growing number of young men are going to church. And young men are increasingly becoming more pro-life. I’ll keep you posted if more information surfaces.
