Today, my guest is Mike Callahan, SVP and General Counsel of LinkedIn where he oversees the legal, regulatory, intellectual property, government relations, compliance, ethics and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining LinkedIn, Mike was Chief Legal Officer of Auction.com and prior to that, served as EVP, General Counsel and Secretary of Yahoo! Inc. from 1999 to 2012. At Yahoo!, Mr. Callahan was a key advisor to the executive team and Board of Directors through numerous acquisitions, investments and divestitures, including the strategic investment and restructuring of Yahoo!’s holdings in the Alibaba Group. Mike was also a corporate M&A Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and holds a JD from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. from Georgetown University.
