You may know Mike Henriksen from his radio shows - SportsMax and Calling All Sports. Or you may know him from calling high school championship games in football and basketball. He just returned from a little vacation to Phoenix after calling the 2019 South Dakota High School AA tournament. We talked for a bit about the controversial ending to the semi-final game between the Yankton Bucks and Sioux Falls O'Gorman Knights.

Mike knew he wanted to be on radio from the time he was a very young man. We talk about how that desire, his golden voice, and a few mentors along the way helped decide his future in broadcasting. While Henriksen does call several games, he's at his best when he's interviewing people. This was a fun conversation.
