Mike Madsen, Economics Director at RealSource Equities, joined us to discuss his forecast on the 2020 real estate market.

Mike started with RealSource in 2005, participating in investor workshops around the nation with the National Association of Real Estate Investors, as well as analyzing multifamily properties and doing economic due diligence for RealSource. He has lead negotiations on over $200M in multifamily transactions in over 6 states. He specializes in macroeconomics, multifamily fundamentals, capital markets, real estate cycles, and applying econometrics to track data and trends for 225 MSA’s across the U.S. Mike is passionate about real estate investing and understanding what key indicators will drive local real estate cycles in the years ahead to help identify target markets for acquisitions.

He graduated from Westminster College in Salt Lake City and where he studied Economics and Business Administration. He previously attended University of Utah and is active in the local CCIM chapter. He holds a real estate license in Utah.
