DJs Ryan March and Maura Hope interviewed Mike Shea on January 21st via phone. Shea founded Alternative Press Magazine in 1985 in Cleveland, Ohio. After many ups and downs the magazine found stability in the 90’s and has been a staple to music fans ever since. In this interview Ryan and Maura discuss the Alternative Press Music Awards, print publishing versus internet publishing, the Cleveland Music Scene, and how Alternative Press Magazine got its start.
