Bill Cosby is heading to prison and could remain there for the rest of his life.

He has been sentenced to three to ten years in a Pennsylvania state prison, for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand more than a decade ago.

Cosby's lawyers have filed an appeal against the sentence.

Associated Press reporter Mike Sisak told Mike Hosking until then, the 81-year-old comedian did not show much emotion throughout the trial.

"He was paraded out of the courtroom in handcuffs, he didn't have anything to say for himself."
