Student loan debt accounts for over $1.5 trillion dollars in this country and is the primary reason so many people still live with their parents.  Trust me, old people, your kids didn’t move back home because they like hearing the sound of your hips break when you have the incredibly uncomfortable sex that only two people who have been married thirty years can have.  The Millennial in your life only moved back home because, at age 18, they were tricked into believing that a liberal arts degree is actually worth $120,000 compounded daily at 4.5% interest over 30 years.  I would say their parents should have taught them better, but our country has been failing at math for over half a century now, so these children were literally growing up with role models.  Don’t believe me?  Look at the national debt.  Any generation that turned a calculator even once would know that $17 trillion is huge amount of fucking money that can’t ever be paid back.  -Mike Solves America
