He didn't go to a college typically associated with broadcasting. He didn't begin providing play-by-play commentary until his junior year of college. Yet, in just over 10 years, Mike Ventola has worked tirelessly to make his childhood aspirations of being a top tier play-by play commentator a reality.

From beginning as a Public Address announcer as a freshman at Immaculata University in suburban Philadelphia, to his current role as the Media Relations Manager and radio voice of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies AAA Affiliate), Ventola has demonstrated that so much can change in just a short amount of time, as long as you put in the work and dedication required to go far.
