He tells us how being a talker led to a career in broadcasting which included a number of National Championships with stops at North Carolina, Virginia, Appalachian State and Army. Waddell also recounts his transition to college administration that would take him to a number of NCAA Division I institutions such as Towson University where he spent 3 years as Athletic Director. From college athletics, Mike transitioned once again making the move to several front office positions including President of the Orlando Apollos in the Alliance of American Football where he worked with “the Head Ball Coach” Steve Spurrier.
