I’ve got two great guests for you on the podcast this week! First I talk with longtime vegan and social justice advocate Christopher Sebastian. Christopher and I talk about intersectionality and two of his articles: A Seven-point Plan to Disrupt White Supremacy and U.S. American Exceptionalism, and A Guide for Confronting White Fragility When Having Discussions About Race. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Christopher and what he has to say, so I was really thrilled to have him on the podcast. Next, I spoke with author Robin Raven about her beautiful new children’s book from Vegan Publishers, Santa’s First Vegan Christmas. Robin is a freelance writer who has been published by The Huffington Post, The Malibu Times, Friends of Animals, to name a few.
Music:
Negative Space – otem rellik
Shchedryk – The Slay Bells
Amen – Nataly Dawn
Christopher and I discussed this Syllabus for White People to Educate Themselves in the episode.
