Miki Berenyi has the distinction of being in one of my favourite bands - that’s 90s heartbreakers Lush - and a fabulous author, behind the fascinating memoir Fingers Crossed: How Music Saved Me from Success, a book that, among other things, looked back at what it was like being at the centre of 90s indie London. I spoke to her ahead of her gig this Saturday, April 27, in Barcelona, where she will present her book and play a gig with her Miki Berenyi trio. We spoke about everything from being outspoken to what kind of subeditor Miki became in her life after Lush. Plus, there is lots of talk about Britpop, Riot Grrrl and Lush.
