Just OK
While this author is not a bad writer, I have to wonder if erotica is the right genre for her. The writing was fast-paced and had the typical "romance novel" feel to it (not necessarily a bad thing,) but at some parts the descriptions were a bit odd (repeatedly using the word "orbs" to describe female anatomy, for instance.) I think the author has potential, but perhaps needs to practice a bit more, at least within this specific genre. The story was just OK -- it's too short to get any real "feel" for the characters, and there is a cliffhanger to try to persuade you to buy the second book. Some of the dialogue didn't feel natural, and so far the leading man doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities other than being "hot." Overall not bad; but not quite good, either.
Very Hot and Steamy - Cliff Hanger
This book was pretty hot! April and Cole meet in first class on a flight to Vegas and the chemistry is instant! They indulge in some steamy and mind blowing mile high action in the bathroom - afterwards April is mortified and quickly leaves the plane after it lands. Little does she know, but her and Cole are going to the same wedding! And that is when the real sparks fly. I really liked this book, it was a quick read for me and I couldn't put it down. I would have given it a 5 star, but this is a cliff hanger book and I want to know what happens next without having to wait!
decent time killer, but not the next best novel ever written.
This book was free when I picked it up, and I've since purchased parts 2 and 3. Yes, I have to call them parts. They should all be together as one complete book. I definitely cannot give it 4 stars, as the main female is extremely annoying and difficult to like. The male counterpart is unrealistic and one dimensional.
Obvious, but hot
April, a woman who is cynical about relationships, is flying to Las Vegas to help her best friend celebrate her wedding. On the flight, sparks fly between her and Cole, her handsome seatmate. There are few surprises in this introduction to a serial story, but Alexander manages to keep things hot enough between April and Cole that it's easy to forgive the obvious plot.
Cute Book
This book was a short fast read. There were some grammatical errors, but overall it was a good book. Of course it ended with a cliffhanger. If you want to know what happens next you gotta buy the next book. Probably will.
