Military Veterans in Journalism (MVJ)  is a professional association that builds community for vets, supports their career growth, and advocates for diversifying newsrooms through hiring and promoting more vets. MVJ started in 2019 and has over 200 members.  It builds its community of vets on social media, including Facebook.  MVJ's Director of Digital Strategy spoke to host Jim Fausone.  Marine Corps veteran Babee Garcia discussed her military career and the importance of getting the veteran viewpoint into press rooms.
