Some days we’re motivated… and some days we definitely aren’t. Today we’re talking about the difference between motivation and discipline and what it looks like to keep showing up even when you don’t feel like it.

Between school, sports, business, the podcast, and everything else, we’re learning that we can’t always wait until we feel motivated to get things done—but we’re also figuring out when pushing through is discipline and when we genuinely need a break.

Today we’re talking about learning to appreciate where you are while still working toward where you want to be. It’s easy to look at someone else’s “greener grass” and wonder why you aren’t there yet, but whatever you water grows.

We talk about focusing on your own growth without shutting out the people you love, trusting that everything happens for a reason, and remembering that one rough morning—or even a rough season—doesn’t mean things aren’t going to work out.

Keep your head up, keep watering your own grass, and trust where you are right now.

Today we’re giving a little update on what’s actually happening behind the scenes with our business. We’re talking about our next steps, meeting with a professional to help us move the idea forward, and the struggle of trying to build a social media presence around a business we can’t even fully talk about yet.

There’s a lot we’re still figuring out, but slowly our ideas are turning into actual plans.

Today we’re just yapping about college, our visit to the University of Arkansas, and how much we loved it. And if you can’t tell, we think it’s “SO pretty” because apparently we needed to say that about 100 times.

We’re obviously SO excited for what the next chapter could look like, but today’s quote is also an important reminder not to get so caught up in the future that we forget to enjoy where we are right now.

Working together doesn’t always mean splitting everything 50/50.

Today we’re looking back at our Incubator experience and some of the biggest lessons we learned about working with other people. Sometimes your partner only has 25% to give, and you have to be willing to bring the other 75%, knowing they’ll do the same for you when you need it.

We’re talking group dynamics, knowing each other’s “battery,” learning how your partner works, and why understanding the person beside you can be just as important as the work itself.
