His belief that a community is only as powerful as their resources and businesses empowers him to be very active with youth empowerment and mentorship.  

Garry is currently the Founder and CEO of The Bridge whose mission is to help and empower communities and neighborhoods throughout the United States that often experience challenges like food security, access to healthcare, affordable housing, public safety, inequality and many other issues that create systems of oppression for many Black Americans.  Watch this episode to hear Garry's story, what empowers him and how he's trying to change a broken system.
