If you follow Mimi and Oddur Thorisson's adventures in countryside living, you might not guess that they met in a nightclub in Paris at 5am. This chance encounter turned into a love story that ignited both of their creative explorations, and moved them out of a fast paced city life into a simpler, dreamier bucolic existence. The food writer and her photographer husband now live between the Médoc and Torino, and have collaborated on a stunning series of cookbooks and dozens of workshops on food and photography.
