On this episode, Danny talks with his parents, Myron and Ronnie Foxworth about their first-hand accounts of dealing with a parent that has dementia. They discuss the moment they recognized the early signs of the disease and the subsequent adjustments made to their life and their parent's life.  They get into how everyday was a challenge due to the change in their parent's behavior and implementing effective caretaking methods.  They also talk about the importance of hiring caretakers to reduce their workload and the proper methods in finding the right one for you.  Lastly, they get into caring for their parent in the final stages of dementia, how they coped with losing them and advice for people who are going through a similar situation.
