Unless you learn the lessons from the wilderness you will never get to the mountaintop where God wants you.

God may not do something for you that you expect Him to do because He is in the process of doing something in you.

There is nothing wrong with gaining something but what makes it wrong is when gaining becomes the goal and your soul is lost in the process.
